A basic old school VCA. Cheap and easy to build. Sounds good too.
This is a kit, not a fully build product — think of it as IKEA for the modular world – and requires you to know how to handle a soldering iron as well as having basic knowledge identifying and orientating electrical components.
It’s a good project to learn some soldering skill and get basic module building experience. It’s relativly easy to troubleshoot if it doesn’t work straight away.
What you’ll be needing to build this successfully:
- A soldering iron
- Some solder
- Wire cutters
- A multimeter can be handy to verify resistor values
- An Eurorack compatible power supply (+12v/-12v)
Built time: Approx. 30min.
